the trip to cheeseland...

So sorry it has taken so long to recap the trip... we had a crazy weekend of a guitar hero night with friends, going to Nashvegas, and then dealing with Beans as she gets her first teeth and next set of shots! The pic above is some candid quick pics I took of Beans smiling at her auntie L....she loved her!!

So, our plane rides were quite fun. She was very curious and looked out of the windows when we first got seated. I took the umbrella stroller on a whim and am so glad! It was her first ride in the umbrella stroller and she thought she was something, waving to all in the Detroit airport! We had a good flight and landed to lots of snow and ate at yummy Noodles and Co and did some shopping at glorious H&M!

The next day we met her cousin by marriage (I think that would be the correct term...) and had a little play date:) So cute! Of course, Ian is older and could stand up (while being held of course) so she started doing it the next day too! So funny! More snow that day as well!

On Sunday the high was -4!!! Yes, you read right, -4! We said goodbye later that day and made our way down south.

Deserving of a special note is the food:) Eric cooked for us and it was all amazing! We had curry, a big huge brunch, amazing chicken parmesan, great desserts, and good wine. I was in heaven!!!

Thanks to Linz and Eric for the wonderful hospitality and look forward to seeing you soon! Here is one of my faves from the weekend. Linz, I am putting all the pics up for you in case you want some...(same for mom as well:) )
